S’pore Reports 642 New Covid-19 Cases on 23 May, Total Cases Now 31,068

On Saturday (23 May), the Ministry of Health (MOH) preliminarily confirmed 642 new cases of Covid-19.

This brings the total number of cases in the nation to 31,068‬.

6 Singaporeans/Permanent Residents (PRs) tested positive for the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, migrant workers living in dormitories make up the majority of remaining cases.

Lowest number of patients in ICU on 22 May

On Friday (22 May), MOH reported that 8 patients were in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU).

This is the only time the number of patients in ICU has fallen to a single digit since ‘Circuit Breaker’ started on 7 Apr.
