1. Not Nice Bee Hoon

Now, here’s a food stall with an unconventional approach. You know how those films which are hyped up like crazy usually end up disappointing audiences in the theatres? Well, this stall has gone the other way and basically warned their customers that their bee hoon is awful.

Maybe the hope is that customers will think “Hmm, it can’t be that bad”, and end up trying it as a result.

Or, you, know, maybe they really don’t want any customers.

2. Uncle Bakery

Either this is a bakery specifically targeted at men over the age of 45 or an actual ‘Uncle’ runs the stall.

But whichever it is, you’ll probably go in just out of curiosity.

3. Babelicious

This boutique promises to make you look “babelicious”. So even if you go in as a 75-year-old uncle, you’ll come out looking like Jennifer Lawrence. Probably.

This is a bit like naming a soup restaurant Soup Restaurant. It is exactly as advertised on the sign.

This saloon clearly takes its suitability for both sexes very seriously. Maybe they had a look at their email sign off and thought, hmm, yeah that’ll make a good name for our saloon.
