Whether you’re hosting a jolly potluck bash or staying in for a romantic Christmas dinner, we’ve got a ready-made menu for you.

The ultimate Christmas feast is one where you’re surrounded by the people you love… and one where you don’t have to agonise over which dishes to prepare. This year, we’re making party planning a whole lot easier by hitting up Cold Storage for all the deliciousness we need. Here are the menus we’ve curated for any kind of party.

For a date night

An evening in with your partner sounds well and good, until you realise that you have to rely on yourselves to prepare the food. Short of ditching the plan and making a restaurant reservation in a hurry, there must be a way to make this Christmas dinner for two without a dreadful hassle, right? And there is: Get your meal from Cold Storage’s festive selection for stellar dishes that are fuss-free.

Crispy, tender and juicy all at once, the honey and garlic pork knuckle is a tempting highlight that makes for a satiating main. Or, split the pork sausage roll with spinach and cheese with your date. Both of these items serve two to four.

To make it a multi-course meal, get starters like roasted asparagus with cherry tomatoes and bocconcini or sauerkraut with champagne and apple garnish, plus a sweet finisher such as the honey yogurt with berry compote. These come in portion sizes for four to six, but don’t let that stop you from having your fancy stay-home meal. Have leftovers? Refrigerate them and consider it your meal prep for the next day. Easy.

Let us take the guesswork out of your pre-potluck party food shopping by planning enough dishes for your entire crew. For a satiating Christmas feast, stock up on the meats, we say. To serve a party of six to eight, choose from Spanish Iberico jumbo ribs in BBQ sauce or ribeye roast beef with rosemary and garlic. As for your choice of turkey, go classic with rosemary roasted turkey with chestnut stuffing or try a spiced pick with the Burgers’ Smokehouse herb roasted turkey.

Add a plate of summer vegetables with herb butter for some greens and a homely German spaetzle for a dose of carbs. And in case your boozy buddy fails to show up with the tipples, throw in an alcoholic Christmas pavlova on your to-buy list. While it serves up to eight, we reckon a party of six could easily polish this off too. The fluffy dessert features wine-soaked cherries and goes even better with a glass of actual booze.

The place: Your cosy abode. The dress code: Anything goes. The menu: Not yet sorted… What’s a busy party host to do? Plan a trip to Cold Storage and your meal prep will be done in a flash. Here, we’ll even lay out a menu for a group of six to eight.

Our meats of choice include Butterball roasted turkey, sous vide turkey breast with Szechuan peppers, smoked turkey drumsticks and a sausage platter that’ll be a hit with the little ones. Pick out sides like the rainbow baby carrots with sweet and roasted potatoes for good measure.

Next, get some bottles of wine to pop but don’t forget to prepare non-boozy drinks for the kids – we’d go for the Belvoir elderflower cordial that doubles as a mixer too. Finish off with dessert by way of a chewy chocolate log cake or a hummingbird cake, and you’ll be all set for this family feast.

Can’t decide? Bag these delectable sets!

The easiest way to sort out your food for any sort of Christmas dinner party? Just bag one of Cold Storage’s signature sets where the main menu is pre-planned for you, so you don’t even have to think about choosing the dishes.

The Supreme Christmas Feast and (halal) Hearty Christmas Feast sets serve six to eight people, while the Lavish Christmas Feast feeds a party of eight to ten. Each consists of a selection of the best meats, including ham, sausages and roasts. These hampers are the perfect complement to a selection of homemade dishes too – there’s no need to cook the entire meal yourself, so go out there and have a merry time!
