Cue your finest threads: Avenue is positively dripping in New York-style opulence, and we’re all for this setting that is swish and retro all at once. For a party lounge in the luxurious destination that is Marina Bay Sands, we’d expect nothing less.
It’s all dance and games around here
Partying til sunrise doesn’t have to mean chugging booze for hours on end – Avenue’s calling to those with a sophisticated and retro-loving soul. Dance the night away on the fancy dance floor or have a tete-a-tete on the plush leather sofas. And that arcade area? Old school magic.
Nighttime bowling gets a neon-lit update at the mini bowling alley, right by the sleek pool table that’s an essential at any fancy space (enter the game with a glass of red for maximum effect).
If you’re game for some grown-up fun, have a go at the pinball machine or have a (literal) blast destroying the Death Star. Or, try your hand at Skee ball – you have all night to get that 100-pointer! May the Force be with you, we say.
A little party never hurt anyone
Ultimately, we’re all just trying to survive the week without feeling as worn-out as our favourite pair of sneakers. We can’t take away your panic-inducing deadlines or gruelling hours, but we can dish on these awesome let-your-hair-down events that will make your week a bit brighter.

For a little motivation to get through a monotonous Thursday, Avenue’s happy hour promises one-for-one tipples that’ll hype you up for a couple of friendly rounds at the mini bowling alley and pool table.
And once the work week is done and dusted, say TGIF with old school hip hop and open-format mashups, courtesy of spinmasters working the Funktion One sound system.

Fly to the Land of Dreams with southern comfort whisky, Angostura bitters and Peychoud’s; ease your brain fog with Camillo’s Cure, featuring gin, Campari, spiced wine and grapefruit; or paint a Smokescreen with dark rum, ginger honey, lemon and Laphroaig. The bartenders will be happy to mix up a storm, and might even provide a show for you too.
