Singaporean actor and singer Aliff Aziz was arrested after a physical altercation along Lorong 21 Geylang.
Involved in a fight in Geylang
A two-part video of the fight was uploaded onto Facebook.
In the first video, a man is seen punching Aliff a couple of times.
At one point, Aliff fell to the ground as the other man kicks his head and landed a few more punches.
Aliff eventually ran away as the man continued to chase after him.
In the second video, Aliff was seen being escorted away from an eatery.
A voice is heard shouting at him in Malay saying: “Don’t come to Geylang anymore. Just stay in Jurong.”
Arrested by police
Responding to queries from Mothership, the police said they were alerted to a case of voluntarily causing hurt along Lorong 21 Geylang at 8:40pm on Jan. 27, 2020.
A police spokesman told Mothership: “While paramedics were tending to the 29-year-old male victim, he behaved aggressively and was subsequently arrested for disorderly behaviour.”
Police investigations are ongoing.
Ex-wife willing to get back with him
This latest incident happened only three days before Aliff’s ex-wife, Bella Astillah, admitted that she was willing to get back together with him.
According to Malay Mail, the 25-year-old actress said that she would discuss the matter with her family before making a decision.
She added that she and Aliff would make the announcement when the time is right.
Bella said via Malay Mail:
“To be honest, since we separated in May last year, we have never been hostile. It’s all for our son Mohamad Ayden Adrean. I’ve never hated Aliff. I saw how our divorce taught Aliff a lot and made him more mature.
I’m not trying to prove to society that he has changed. For me, if he loves and cares about our son, that’s more than enough.”
Not the first time
This is not the first time Aliff has made the headlines for the wrong reasons.
He was caught up in a few scandals, which may have contributed to the end of his marriage.
