Yes, burlap coffee bags. I’m not kidding, the cards are made from burlap.

Editor: Isn’t that just those thingy to hold rice?
No, it isn’t when you put the Starbucks brand on it #powerofbranding
Recycled burlap coffee bags will be used to make the Special Edition Starbucks Card. It’s kinda cute to have a Starbucks card made out of recycled materials that the coffee beans used to travel in.
Starbucks has also done something similar in the past, making a special edition card out of recycled burlap coffee bags.
This was released in the U.S. a few years back. Hence, this makes these cards pretty rare; making it somewhat of a collector’s item.
So if you are into collecting rare items, specifically Starbucks Card, this is your chance!

This burlap card is available for Starbucks Rewards members and will be yours for free when you spend a minimum of $50 in a single receipt, while stocks last.
Do note that payment must be made with your Starbucks Card, and it will be limited to 1 card per member.
