Adding to the smorgasbord of brunch options in the city is Oriole Coffee + Bar’s all-new weekend brunch. The brunch features hearty and comforting breakfast-y treats like smoked salmon rosti, espresso hotcakes and the all-American fully loaded breakfast platter. Food coma got you sleepy? OverEasy: An all-American diner brunch
Best cure for a hangover? Nothing like a delish all-American brunch. OverEasy has the right remedy for your weekend – think an English muffin packed with a sunny-side-up egg, streaky bacon, a signature wagyu chuck blend patty. breakfast rosti and a side of fries (The Hangover Party IV); or the Tex-Mex breakfast with Impossible Texas chilli. Sun, sand and a scrumptious brunch, this beach club has it all. It’s the perfect place to sit back and pretend you’re on a mini vacay. Their all-day restaurant by the beach will have you spoilt for choice with a menu of coastal-inspired dishes. Start off with brunch favourites like smashed avo toast, eggs Benedict and a smoked salmon on toasted brioche. And what’s a beachside brunch without tropical tipples? Wash it all down with summer cocktails like the copabanana, a fruity banana and dark rum concoction or the Malayan mai tai, a secret blend with pandan and tropical flavours.

Long Chim: Brunch with a Thai twist
You’re entitled to all the amazing Thai dishes you can consume at David Thompson’s Long Chim at Marina Bay Sands. The set brunch menu ($49++) has dried prawns with ginger and toasted coconut, chicken satay grilled eggplant salad with steamed egg and dried prawns. Most of these flavour-packed, hangover-busting plates are meant to be shared, so this means you have more tummy room for post-prandial sweets like the banana roti, coconut ash pudding and Thai tea and coconut ice cream flavours.

Kinki Restaurant: A Japanese bottomless brunch
Tucked away in a historic building that sits in front of Singapore’s beautiful Marina Bay waterfront, Kinki Restaurant is a contemporary Japanese dining spot that packs a punch with its modern take on Japanese dishes (think playfully decadent items like foie gras sushi and snow crab tofu). Knock yourself out at the bottomless brunch of selected sushi, sashimi, maki, mains and desserts at just $58++. Want to take things to do next level? Add $35++ for free flow of beer, sake, prosecco or shochu.

Working Title: Burgers for brunch
Our two favourite B-words come together in Working Title’s brand new brunch menu. The Arab Street café’s got a brand new burger for brunch, and it comes packed with a grilled beef patty topped with turkey bacon, truffle scrambled eggs, crushed tater tots, caramelised onions, mild cheddar and a smoky barbecue sauce – talk about a brunch of champs! But if you prefer more traditional brunch offerings, opt for the Working Big Breakfast or the smoked salmon with asparagus and scrambled eggs.

Lolla: A brunch that’s mad for Mediterranean
This cafe around Ann Siang Hill has brunch offerings that are already making our stomachs growl (be still, our tums!). Drool-worthy dishes include cashew nut milk, baked Shropshire blue cheese omelette, beef tongue hash, lamb tenders, crab lasagne and stuffed squid – gotta munch ’em all!

Jones The Grocer: Brunch while doing the groceries
You can always trust the Aussies when it comes to coffee and brunch. Our go-to cafe for a cuppa, Jones the Grocer is one of our all-time faves for brunch. Our vote’s on the egg royale and hotcakes, but the classic eggs Benedict hardly disappoints either. Get your weekly grocery shopping done while you’re there too!

The White Rabbit: Brunch in a church
A go-to romantic ‘date night’ restaurant, this stunning establishment is housed in a conserved chapel and exudes an elegant old-world charm with a touch of modern sensibility. Brunch is a decadent affair with a selection of pastas, lobster grilled cheese sandwich and the ultimate breakfast essential – eggs (available in every style possible!). Try the White Rabbit Fry Up, which offers two eggs any style served with assorted meats and greens, or indulge in the sumptuous smoked trout frittata with Shadi Schrenckii caviar.

Don Quijote: Brunch like the Spaniards
Fancy something a little more exotic for brunch? Head over to this casual tapas joint for its weekend brunch buffet that includes tapas, salads, soups pastas and more. Enjoy authentic Spanish classics like barbecued spicy sausages, patatas bravas, and croquettes with cured Spanish ham. For $58++, you’ll even get a free flow of beers, wine and sangria *hic*.

PS. Cafe: The one brunch lovers flock to
PS.Café needs no introduction, but that’s not stopping us from raving about their brunch! One of their signature brunch dishes is croque madame with shaved Ardenne smoked ham, gratineed montreux guyere cheese on rustic bread and topped with a fried egg. If you’re spending your morning at Ann Siang Hill outlet, make sure to try shared brunch dishes such as grilled cheese toasties, mushroom on toast and snapper chowder pie.

Penny University: Brunchin’ in the East
This cosy little cafe on East Coast Road champions the “made in Singapore” concept. They source their coffee beans from local roasters, serve bread baked fresh daily in the area, and often collaborate with local bakers. Solid choices like the Turkish eggs and Penny’s mac and cheese are must-haves.

SPRMRKT: Brunch with a side of art
Virtually everything’s made from scratch here at SPRMRKT (short for supermarket). The weekend brunch menu consists of offerings like the yoghurt berries trifle ($10), egg omelette with various fillings ($14), and eggs Florentine ($14). As its name implies, yes, you can do your grocery shopping here too, and you can even get inspired with pop-up artist exhibitions too.

Super Loco: Brunch if you’ve got the munchies for Mexican
Fancy a Mexican brunch? One of our favourite spots, Super Loco, puts out amazing brunch creations during the weekend, like huevos rancheros (can’t forget that classic), a breakfast burrito, a pulled pork torta, and the must-try churros. They even offer the oh-so-healthy (yet yummy) acai bowl!

Artichoke: Brunch from the dude-Sin master
Trust Bjorn Shen – the wackiest chef we know – to whip up Middle Eastern-influenced dishes your taste buds won’t let you forget. The menu’s ever-changing, but to give you an idea of what to expect, items like crab and bacon toast, crispy lamb floss (twice-cooked lamb with runny hummus) and of course, a hearty serving of shakshuka have graced the menu. All dishes are served in sharing portions.

The Lokal: Brunch that oozes Melbourne vibes
Modelled after famous Melbourne joint, Pope Joan, The Lokal offers plenty of Aussie-inspired creations. If you’d like to customise your own brunch special, you can choose from the extensive list of sides. Handmade ricotta, poached eggs, toasted pumpernickel, dry-cured bacon… you’re going to have to make some big decisions. Also, fab coffee from sister outlet Sarnies is available here.

Ronin: The hidden brunch
This hidden gem has no signage whatsoever, so if you aren’t actively looking for the café, chances are, you’ll walk right past the space on Hong Kong Street. Try the super fluffy brioche French toast with braised apples and bacon, and for coffee, order either The Wicked (mocha with mint) or the Matcha-tone (green tea latte).

The Beast: Brunch with a love for Louisiana
Chicken and waffles, pulled pork hash, a mac and cheese burger a Southern big breakfast – these are just some of the sinful Southern treats you can feast on at The Beast, a bourbon bar in the Bugis area. You can even opt for a DIY brunch to have it your way. Don’t forget to order some sweet tea!
