Epic Saturday brunches that will totally be the highlight of your weekend!

We secretly believe that Saturday brunches were invented so we don’t have to take an extra day off to recover from it. Nonetheless, bless the genius that came up with this idea. Brunches that fall on a Saturday may be scarce in Singapore – many restaurants do Sunday brunches or happy hour deals on weekdays but we’ve found some delish gems. So gather you drink buddies and clink to these Saturday brunches that offer everything from free-flow Champagne and craft cocktails to copious amounts of incredible food!

The Italian table Saturday Champagne brunch at Zafferano

For classic Italian meals and bubbly

Zafferano piles on classic Italian favourites, antipasti, pasta and even a dessert bar at the Italian table Saturday Champagne brunch. Don’t worry about the carbs and tuck into dishes like Sorrentina style gnocchi, burrata imported from Italy, stewed mussels and a live carving station of duck and seabass. Of course, no Italian meal is complete with a glass of wine but if you’re in the mood for bubbly, Champagne is your answer.

The brunch at Skai is just the kind of lavish brunch you’d celebrate a special day or even take the parents and in-laws to. It’s plush, has killer views from the 70th storey, à la carte cold and hot main dishes, a dessert table and free-flow craft cocktails, fine house wines and Champagne at just $168. Chef Paul helms the kitchen, whipping up dishes like wagyu beef tataki, BBQ oyster with creamy kimchi butter and spiced seafood hash with waffles. There’s even a live matcha pancake station and chocolate fountain for sweet tooths.

In the drinks department, Skai’s beverage manager, Rusty Cerven concocts distinctive artisanal cocktails that aren’t your ordinary spirits-with-soda combos. In fact, we’re curious to try the breakfast bellini; T&T wheat vodka, toasted oats, honey, apricot and champagne or Skai’s spin on a Bloody Mary; the bloody Skai with bacon-washed Reyka vodka, dill fino sherry, spicy mix and tomato juice. We’re counting down to Saturday already.
