Going for a kart race can be really thrilling.
Letting the winds of a downhill slope blow past you as you race against other competitors in an outdoor course.
Sure there aren’t turtle shells and banana peels like Mario Kart but it’s fun nonetheless.
But have you ever thought about kart-racing indoors?
Because Sentosa might’ve something for you if ever such a thought was entertained.
First Indoor Karting Circuit in S’pore Opens at Sentosa for Limited Time Only From 2 Apr–30 Jun
If you have a need for speed, this may be worth checking out.
Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has collaborated with KF1 Karting Circuit to bring us Singapore’s first indoor karting circuit!
Dubbed Circuit Tiki, this special treat will only be available from 2 April to 30 June this year.
The circuit will also operate from 10am to 10pm daily.
So you don’t have long before this time limit runs out.

The track is around 550m long and has quite a number of corners to test your skills.
Though, unlike Mario Kart, you can’t just press a button to turn or drift.
Varying Price Ranges
The circuit will have two packages: the novice 25km/h package and an advanced, 40km/h package.
If you have an RWS membership, you’re in for some huat.

The novice course for members will cost S$18 while the advanced one will be S$25.
Without a membership, the courses will cost S$28 and S$35 respectively.
Do note that all these prices are also nett prices.
And while you still have to wait for its official opening, you can reserve some tickets early!

But if you’re not in such a rush then you could probably just wait to go buy tickets onsite.

However, with great fun also comes great responsibilities.

There are some rules that all karters need to follow.
- A valid driving or motorcycle license is required only for the Advanced go-karts as per the Building and Construction Authority’s Amusement Ride Regulations.
- Both local and foreign licenses are accepted, which are mandatory to be shown over the counter for verification.
- You need to be at least 1.4m to participate
- You must wear covered shoes.
- Hairnets and helmets will be provided by KF1.
Despite the pandemic making overseas travel hard, activities like this could also make for some fun here as well!
