We’re huge fans of The Halia – by day it makes a beautiful brunch spot surrounded by the greenery of Botanic Gardens, and by night it’s a romantic resto for date night! Their Communal Feast Menu for 4 pax ($210) is perfect for your next group iftar. Start off with Soup of the Day served with baked baguette, a delightful Goats Cheese Mousse and the famous Lemongrass & Ginger Prawn Salad, before tucking into the mains. There’s Baked Tooth Fish with curry spiced greens, Organically Farmed Lacto Chicken Breast with garlic fine bean, broccolini, wholegrain mustard cream and 48hr Blackmore Wagyu Spare Rib (a must-try!). Monster Planet

The local Muslim foodie scene was buzzing when Monster Planet, Monster Curry’s halal concept, launched in December! Well-known for serving monstrous size demi-glace Japanese Curry, they’ve launched their first-ever Ramadan feast. The family bundle for 4 ($99) will include the Monstrous Combo of Tender Roasted Chicken Thigh, Prawn Tempura, Lemongrass Chicken, Salmon Fry, Sausages, Homemade Meatless Popcorn Salad, Tako Balls served with Fragrant White Rice and Japanese Curry sauce, Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, Churros Banana Chocolate Parfait, Ondeh-Ondeh Honey Toast and choice of a 1.5L Bandung or Citrus Tower (sure to be thirst-quenchers!).
