Now that the year’s almost over, it’s time to treat yourself to classy dinners and cocktail soirees headed by first-rate celebrity chefs and experts on wines and spirits. All this is happening at restaurants across Marina Bay Sands on 13 December, before the market opens, which makes the experience all the more exceptional.

Must-tries include a selection of dry aged cuts with Wolfgang Puck at CUT, Franco-Asian dishes at celebrated local chef Justin Quek’s JustIn Flavours of Asia, a premium cuvée wine dinner at db Bistro and Oyster Bar, KOMA’s sake dinner and a four-course wine-pairing meal at LAVO. Plus, you can toast to the event opening at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar in the evening with one-for-one cocktails, games, live tunes and more.

Want something more exclusive? Wolfgang Puck will also host a chefs’ tasting dinner and cocktail reception at Spago on 12 December and a dinner at CUT on 13 December for those interested in private face time with the acclaimed chef himself.

Just like years past, the market hosts pop-ups from Marina Bay Sands’ award-winning restaurants, so you can nibble your way through some of the most popular dishes and cocktails on their menus. Besides famed names like Waku Ghin’s Patisserie Platine by Chef Tetsuya, Adrift by David Myers and Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay, the line-up includes newcomers like modern Japanese eatery KOMA, European-inspired patisserie Origin + Bloom and New York’s Black Tap Craft Burgers and Beer.

Also new: A boozy corner shaking up the best concoctions from 12 signature bars across Marina Bay Sands. And yes, that includes creations by Hong Kong’s Mott 32  so you can get first dibs before it opens its doors early next year.

Oh, and if you’re keen on upping your game from home cook to chef-in-the-making, sit in for any of the 12 free masterclasses and learn from the team at Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen on how to make your own roast, watch Wolfgang Puck showcase his culinary skills in making the perfect risotto or learn to grow your own edible garden at home.

In the mood for an after-hours party? Shimmy on over to Marquee after 10pm for an epic late-night bash to end your weekend with a bang.
